This 28m (90ft) Christ the King monument, Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei, showing outstretched arms on a hill in Lisbon, Portugal, was built in 1959 in thanks to God for having spared Portugal during WWII. This monument is situated near the The 25th of April Suspension Bridge. (Texture added to my original digital photograph.)
