Description
View looking up to the top of The Hearst Tower, originally owned by Bank of America, in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, on North Tryon Street. It is a 47-story skyscraper, the fourth tallest building in Charlotte, containing 970,002 rentable sq. ft. What makes it unique is the building's reverse floorplate design, which makes the upper floors average 2,200 square meters (24,000 sq ft) compared to an average of only 1,900 square meters (20,000 sq ft) for the lower floors. (Texture added to my original photograph.)
